OHS hosts Vietnam Veterans

On March 26th, the USHG classes hosted our annual Vietnam Veteran Visit! We host about 12-15 Veterans of the Vietnam War. They come from different backgrounds, ranks, military divisions, and experiences of war. Groups, on average, consisting of 15 students and 2 veterans hear their stories and experiences, ask questions, and pay tribute to the veterans. This visit is connected to their IB project. Students love the experiences of have a close conversation with a veteran and many shake hands and thank our Vets for their service when the hour is over.
