The Seal of Biliteracy is an award that the State of Michigan gives to students who can show a certain level of mastery in their language. The 4 areas are tested - listening, speaking, reading and writing. This year, Oakland Schools offered a "Seal of Biliteracy Bootcamp" where the students were "tested" in these areas and then given immediate feedback from highly qualified language teachers from Oakland County. Oxford sent the most students - 15 total!! Only 70 from the whole county went! Here are some highlights.
